I have not actually had a Jeep 300 and a Jeep 20 apart at the same time to check and compare the dimensions of the shift rails, shift slots, etc. but I imagine that they are very similar. You would have to confirm this for yourself, but I found a nice article for it on 4x4 wire.

When I changed my tranny to a T18, I ended up triming a little more. Not a problem though, I just added a small piece of aluminum plate to cover the hole.
