I nixed the idea of using my nice and kinda expensive Lakewood roller pilot bearing and got a USA made bronze pilot bearing at NAPA. The little needle bearings made me kinda nervous. Thus, distance from tranny face to block is 7.189". So, the problem here is that the input shaft will extend 7.375" from the tranny face, and the block will be only 7.189" from the tranny face.
