WebbAnomaly balance and progression are really bad, that's why modders try to make it more balanced: easier at the start, harder in the end, with a longer progression. At least that's what I'm doing in Stalker GAMMA. Vanilla Anomaly is extremely hard at the start and super easy in endgame which is completely dumb. WebbPistol headshots drops enemies, it's just that it's not accurate enough to land one and there is better chance to land shot with inaccurate gun by aiming at middle of enemy; Headshots does more damage and most enemies doesn't wear helmet. shotgun have crap armor penetration, so have to aim for headshots with it, for enemy doesn't have helmet there.
